Hong Kong Company Registration

  • Company Name: The name of the company in both English and Chinese (English is required, ending with "有限公司" in Chinese and "有限公司" in English);
  • Proof of one director or more: ID card of registered director and shareholder (scanned copy or clear photo, front and back of ID card of domestic person, personal information page of passport of foreigner);
  • One shareholder or more (must be at least 18 years old);
  • Registered capital: from HK$1W, no need to verify capital;

MacauCompany Registration

Examples include a limited liability company (LLC) or a joint stock company (Ltd).

Choose a company name that complies with the legal requirements of Macau. After confirming the Macau company name, carry out a company name search to confirm the registrability of the name.

1. Company name in English and Chinese, the verification of the name will take 3-4 working days, and the verification of the name can only be done after the payment of the registration fee;
2. The shareholders and directors can be the same person. If they are the same person, the name of the company should reflect "one person limited company";
3. Colour scan of ID card and passport with original price;
4. Shareholder directors who are married are required to provide the name and marital property of their spouses;
5. Registered capital does not need to be physically present;
6. Select the scope of business according to the actual development of the business.
7. If there are more than 2 directors, please confirm the validity of the signatures;
8. If the name of the company as a shareholder: ① overseas company information needs to do international certification; ② domestic company information needs to do notarisation (at your own expense);
The Trade and Industry Bureau will scrutinise the registration documents submitted to ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. Once approved, a certificate of registration and a business licence will be issued.

In addition to the basic conditions, one of the following conditions should be met:
Bachelor's degree or above and Bachelor's degree or above (including those recognised by the Ministry of Education).
Foreign Equivalent Qualifications and Degrees
(ii) possessing professional and technical qualifications at the assistant level or above, or equivalent overseas qualifications on record.
